Sonia Sotomayor Gets Illustrated For New Comic Book This April

February 2, 2010 (MMD Newswire) -- Sonia Sotomayor made history in the summer of 2009: That's when she took her seat as the first Hispanic justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. This April Bluewater Productions will feature her journey, profiling Sotomayor in the latest edition of its Female Force biographical comics.
Sotomayor's rise to the highest court in the land is a truly inspirational tale. Because of this, it is a perfect fit for Bluewater Productions' Female Force series of biographical comics.

In April, Bluewater will ship Female Force: Sonia Sotomayor, a 32-page comic, to retailers across the country. This will give readers a chance to join writer Robert Schnakenberg and artist Cesar Feliciano as they trace Sotomayor's journey from the Bronx to the Supreme Court.

"Sonia Sotomayor's story illustrates everything that is right about the United States," said Bluewater President Darren G. Davis. "Sotomayor came from a poor family. Her father didn't even speak English. Yet she has risen to become one of the most powerful people in the country, all because she worked hard."
