The New York International Latino Film Festival Calls for Submissions and Announces a Contest to Produce the Commercial for the 11th Installment of the Festival, Which Runs From August 03 to August 08

NEW YORK, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) returns for its 11th year bigger and better than ever, calling for submissions for the premier Latino film festival in the country, running from Tuesday, August 3 through Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Clearview Chelsea Cinemas (260 West 23rd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues) and the School of Visual Arts Theater (333 West 23rd Street between 8th and 9th Avenues). NYILFF is presented by HBO™.

NYILFF also announces its "Watch Yourself" TV Commercial Contest, calling for script/storyline entries for the festival's 2010 commercial. The winning entry will be produced as a 60-sec. commercial in partnership with GlobalHue Latino, one of the nation's largest Hispanic advertising and marketing agencies, which has been tapped by NYILFF to lead the organization's 2010 advertising campaign. The contract awarded to the agency will encompass the overall campaign's advertising strategy and development of key advertising materials to promote the festival.
